A stupid question to ask…

Yesterday was a hell of a day, it was a handover of keys to the tenant and there was this stupid agent from another company representing his client.

His client was more fussy than the diva Jeniffer Lopez even before he moved in and this agent is literally encouraging him.

Okay, so the handover was not an ordinary handover; it was a fully furnished premises with over the top electrical appliances. My duty was jus to make sure that my inventory is complete and working in good order when I handover the premises to the tenant to avoid any future misunderstanding.

So I was saying, this stupid agent la, I’ll call him “ S”, he was representing the client and we went through a check list to make sure that everything was working in order. He was not only late for an hour but he wore a HUGE genie earring on his left ear, what kind of agent wears earring during work?

I told him that I already ran through the inventory myself while waiting for him but HE INSISTED that we go through together AGAIN!!

He had a negative attitude and everything that he touches he will say “lousy” or “spoilt” despite that everything is working in good condition

Scenario 1 (guest Bathroom)

S” : (turns on the shower to check the heater), owh, the water heater spoil

NO water!

Me : its not spoilt, there is a main tap, turn it

(there was water coming from the shower; but there was no heater)

“S” : No use, the heater NOT WORKING..

Me : (points at ELCB button) , I think you can try pushing that button upwards!!

( well, what I wanted to say actually was: For the Love of God, dun ya ever use the god dam water heater before)..well I DIDN’T

“S” : (SHOW OFF f*CKIN Face) , STILL, THE WATER PRESSURE VERY SMALL..LOUSY WATER PRESSURE

I feel like kickin him at his balls right that time…..

(OMG, is this his house? He is jus representing the client, he shud jus shut up and make sure that everything is working in order so that his client wont demand because it will jus delay everything)

Scenario 2 (Bedroom 3)

“S” : (opens up wardrobe cupboard ; and the hinge snap), owh, the hinge is spoilt, Eunice you see! (points at hinge)

Me : its not spoilt, its jus LOOSE, will ask “R” (contractor) to fixed it

“S” : No you see (points directly at the hinge, that is in “L” shape)

Me : ( I stretch the hinge so to show him that it was working), it can be fixed ok?.. (sounds sarcastic)

“S” : OWH, you see, nows..adays…no body use open/close door, all is sliding door.

Me : yeah , NOWS ADAYS..!!!..... ( WHAT THE HECK IS NOW ZA DAYS?)

After everything was completed, Agent S asked his client the most stupid question:

“ so, anything that you not happy about??”

Good gracious; there are so many other question to put and he have to ask that IDIOT QUESTION,

He could have ask:

So far are so good rite, if there is anything lack, we hope to rectify it for you OR;

Is there anything that you wish to bring up?

NOOOO.........he didnt, he have to ask him the blardy question.....

His client is already a fussy pot and he is asking him what other tonnes of stuff he is unhappy with, Hello, if you want to close the deal, ask the right question not ask stupid question…

I was pissed off, literally....but I could not leave as well, I told STUPID agent that I’m off for another appointment and everything that we have mentioned in the appointment letter will be made DONE.

Others request will not be entertained and if his client wants anything more than we had discussed; it shall be up to the owner..

After that, I went off…..

Sometimes people can have years of experience working but also years of experience repeating the same mistakes. From what I see, he could be a very experience agent but it all has fails because he does not know how to ask the right question.

In life, we can have years of experience working but we can also repeat the same thing every year. It’s okay to make mistakes but not repeated mistakes.

The most unbearable day!

Sowee for the lack of update.....

I’ve been out from office these few weeks and have met several horny, men clients that would like to invest their $$ in Malaysia. The way they talk , its like those MAFIA that you watch in movie. They give the budget and you give what they…want...(edited)

Seriously, what they want is not impossible but investor ( from ali baba land) always expect that Malaysia is some sort of cheap labour country and all the materials they want rather high end.

Did I get the business..?…H-E-C-K NO!... even with another million, its impossible, unless all the materials comes from China and these oil bastard dun mind changing it every year!

Well, the worst was not that but the site visit in Puchong for a very well know developer constructing a double storey link house which cost something like RM 780,XXX.00.

The past few week had not been easy. Imagine walking in heels, wearing jacket and skirt, to lose the jacket would mean baring my skin and tat would totally be bitching. To lose the heels would mean bare foot..in this hot weather? I dun think so… to lose the skirt??? Well , that would be a great idea…NOT!

The weather? Yeah it was nasty, more than 37 degree and the heat was melting my skin away.

To make matter worse, there was no proper route to the showhouse, WALK or DIE in the sun. and upon arriving, there was NO WATER to drink. What kind of showhouse does not provide water or free drinks?

C’mon people, purchaser is buying a property more than half a million and you can’t even provide water?

it was a bad day… Need I say more… ??

Mid Autumn Festival.

Back in 1990s,Mid Autumn festival used to be celebrated with candles dripping all over the paved cemented floor at the yard outside my house, as i grew older, i would play with lanterns walking around with my sister and few of our childhood friends, showing off our best lantern.

Approaching teenage, i would have very adventurous nights of hide n seek with few of my friends from the same neighborhoods. i still remember a game that i enjoyed the most.

The game would actually be two seeker and the rest would actually..duh..HIDE.

The adventurous part of this game? everyone would have to cycle whilst maintaining the lantern. there is actually forbidden zone, and those who hide are only allowed to cycle within the range that we have all agreed.

The rule of the game is that :

-no one should own any lighter/ matches or anything.

- everyone should maintain their lantern.

- lantern should not be burn

-lantern should HAVE light.

Everyone is only given one coloured candle.there will be a lighter tied at the monkey bar in the playground. those whose candles goes off can go and light up their candle again in the playground, but beware of seeker. there are two, and we usually try to avoid that area, Also another hider can't gang up and hide together.

The duration of the game would end when the seeker finds all the hiders ; or if the seekers cant find all of us, then all would have to show their faces 2 minutes before their candles go off. (whichever applies), the first two person who get caught would be the seeker for the next round.

(the colored candle usually last about 20mins). ..oh! by the way, during our time, those who cheats face a terrible consequences. their bike get drip by candles. so No Cheating eh?

Fast forward time, and i can no longer fit in with the kids running around the neighborhoods, also, its too dangerous nowadays..after nurin's case and all.....

Now, I would like to go home and spend my mid autumn festival holding hands with my love ones and watching children playing with candles and lanterns at their porch.

Mid year autumn wouldn’t be complete without mooncake and green tea.

Happy mid autumn festival to ya’ll!

Love can do miracles

My grandparents will always have reason to argue. They literally disagree with whatever topic they would tend to discuss on and it will have no conclusion, but the usual case is that my grandpa would eventually let my grandmamma wins because my grandma is one fierce lady…

My grandparents have been sleeping in separate room even since before my mum got to know my daddy. So that’s pretty much heck of a years. My mum did mentioned to me before the reason they have chosen to sleep in different rooms but perhaps it was not a good story I would like to hear, therefore I have forgotten the story. I believe that in every marriage, there would be a chapter where its difficult to go through.

Whatever the reason, I wouldn’t know and certainly would not want to know. I’m glad that both of them are still staying under the same roof in place we called home. In between times when there are not together my grandpa would be seen loitering in the coffee shop across the busy street boasting how many grandchildren he has and of course the rest of his member would do the same thing, every afternoon, every day, same time, same topic.

My grandma would be at someone else kitchen ; (not cooking) but playing mahjong with her “kaki” . the common thing that both my grandparents share ?? is the smile on their face when they win d lottery ( nobody frowns ok , when the win money, unless you’re a nut case)..

Thus having said all that, my grandma is actually a very independent woman, (no wonder I looks a bit like her..hmmmmm) you see, she was sick since last week and now the only person paying attention to her is my grandpa, my grandpa has been taking care of her and although they no longer have love for each other, my grandpa still look out for my grandma.

The last thing I saw last night was indeed very touching, and I feel that I jus wanna share it with you. My grandmamma was already feeling lousy and she keeps whining of her back pain everytime she coughs. My cousin were in the hall ignoring everything she said whilst blasting the telly out loud. My grandpa was at the dining doing his usual stuff.

Despite the telly volume was blasting so loud, my grandpa heard my grandmamma voice and quickly ask for me to get him the “vicks”. (talk about age hearing, his hearing is damn good man)..as I passed him the ointment,i stood outside my room door watching his gesture, he quickly opened the cover, he walks towards grandmamma and showed it to her, grandmamma went to sit on the couch and grandpa sit behind her, he slip his hands beneath the thin T-shirt and rub her back. Through out the time, the were no exchange of words, jus exchange of action.

Lastly, My grandpa said something, (AND NO, he did not utter dialoque from Hollywood like

- your’re the air that I breathe OR

- I cannot live without you OR

- You mean so much to me OR

- You die, I die (or should it be you jump, I jump ?)

My grandpa merely told her to get some rest and grandmamma stood up and went to her bedroom. It’s really sweet that despite both of them had wrinkles hands and crow feet all over their faces, they were jus like and ordinary human beings, loving the person you care most. And jus that simple touch from my grandpa, my grandmamma succumb to whatever he has to say. Love can do miracles!

Craving for attention

I live with my grandparents in kl.... i'm going to talk about my grandma in this post...

Jus let me give you an insight of my grandmamma…My grandmamma? She is not your average grandma who wears matching floral taylor made suits, and has this weird old folks smell, or wears taichi shoes….my grandma wears T-shirt and Bermuda shorts daily. she loves wearing thong slippers...and enjoys putting vitamin-E in her hair... She paints her toenails in red or pink and she would request me to decorate her toe-nails with all the 3D nail arts that I bought…. ( oh yeah, she’s more funky than me.. seriously!)

Her hobby? She goes up to Genting to help Uncle Lim pay his electricity bills…her favourite ?? the roulette ……

Her job? Playing mahjong of course….with newly done painted nails by me.. so that she can show off her fellow colleague...i mean her fellow friends...….old people, they still crave for attention.. my grandma would never failed to amused me…

Ok, bac to my story…

last week since 10th August 2007, my grandmamma fall sick, at first it was jus the typical fever- no appetite to eat, then it stretch on to Friday which I suspected that it was dengue. After my uncle took her to see the doc, it was confirmed that it is not dengue , because she is much older therefore it takes a little more time to recover. She looks much merrier that day after “her son” ( my uncle) brought her to see the doc.

But since yesterday, she was still complaining bone aching, stomach cramps, headache, no appetite to eat and whining all the way. I cant take it and I started to call all my uncles…… because I knew only “ my grandma’s son” can cheer her up..

( translated to English)

1st call

Me : hey, grandma is not well yet, so r u coming to see her again?

3rd uncle : aiyar, she is so big, sure will ok la, stomach cramp will go away, I busy la..see tomorrow how first

Me: = _ = ’

2nd call

Me : hellow..hellow….HELLO…. grandma is not well, so r u coming to see her again? ( heard background music and loud people talking)

1st uncle : yo, yo , yo....wasssupp…….

Me: grandma is not well, so r u coming to see her again?

1st uncle : why dun u give her a hug ? or do some massage for her la...i'm so the very busy

Me : = _ = ’ …….. hug cannot cure her la

1st uncle : what makes u think that my presence can cure…..@$%^%&^&….she jus want attention la..$%%^^&**….anything else ma u wanna say..i busy la...^*&^@$@

Me: = _ = ’ …fine

And so I give up, I gave up calling my uncles because after the 2nd call, I was jus plain pissed off……

on the other hand, it makes me wonder how much my grandma would go the distance to make her son’s come to see her….but what is more remarkable is that my uncles understand my grandma more than my she understand them… and they knew that my grandmamma was jus craving for attention.

Random

I’m blogging from work and despite I have a list of things to do, I’m here feeling random…. now, i really really feel like lazing at home on my couch drinking something hot…..

*Think*… Britney spears…she has accomplished all before the age of 30 , she has money as fat as her ass…. and now she is like this screw up mum with loads of problem in her life….and lost custody of her children..

Wakakkakaka… damn funny! :)

I kid, I kid… ..for someone who accomplished so much money but in return looses everything, it kindda sad, remember that she use to be this hot chick in “oops, I did it again.” ......Now its like “ ooops, I screw it again”..

Back to today…...

I think I’m a little crazy today, thanx to jason’s post about his snooze problem, I woke up late today, and I did the same exact thing, snooze mode till the phone give up on itself. If it wasn’t for my Grandad who came over and wake me up I think I will be late for work….again….well again here means I’ve been late this whole week since Monday, and although I’ve been sleeping more than 8 hours, I still feel tired in work and my mind somehow flew to “fashionista land” thinking of the shoes and clothes that maybe or later I can purchase

*SNAP OUT OF IT**

I think I should get some coffee to stay wake….
